History of the Indus Valley Civilization



The Indus Valley Civilization came from the Sumerian Civilization. Through the years, their population increased from 40,000 to 60,000. They were found in Africa and they live in a permanent area. The people that are part of this civilization is called "Dravidians". They had two major cities, Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro. The Priest-king are the ones that live in the upper city and the traders, artisans, slaves and farmers live in the lower city. This civilization lasted from 3300-1300 BCE and their mature period was from 2600-1900 BCE.
