The Dravidians had major contributions in terms of 

technology. They developed the irrigation system which 

was introduced by the Sumerians. The irrigation system 

is still being used today by the farmers. The Dravidians 

also developed a system of uniform weights and 

measurements. Techniques in metallurgy were also 

developed by the Dravidians. They produced copper, 

bronze led and tin.
